Delivery specifications

Prepare a clean master and complete supporting materials. Your private project checklist identifies what acquisitions has requested.

Version 2026-09-v1

Effective date: Not yet specified by acquisitions

Current configured requirements. Check this version before each delivery.

Video requirements

MP4 or MOV. H.264, H.265 or ProRes by arrangement. 1920 × 1080 or 3840 × 2160. Preserve the original frame rate: 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50 or 59.94 fps. Deliver a clean master without burned-in advertisements.

Audio requirements

Stereo mix required. Supply 5.1 and alternate languages by arrangement with acquisitions. Identify language and channel layout. Staff will request a compatible container for separate audio.

Captions and subtitles

WebVTT, SRT or TTML. Captions must be complete, synchronized, correctly labeled by language and reviewed for accessibility. Select the correct language and descriptive label. Check timing, speaker identification, meaningful sound cues and readability. Ask acquisitions about any format not offered by the upload control.

Posters, backdrops and thumbnails

Poster 2:3 (recommended 2000 × 3000); landscape backdrop 16:9 (3840 × 2160); episode thumbnail 16:9 (1920 × 1080). JPEG or PNG. Confirm rights for all artwork. Supply separate portrait and landscape artwork. Do not stretch a portrait poster into a landscape thumbnail. Keep important lettering, faces and logos inside a 10% safe margin.

Metadata

Title, synopsis, release year, runtime, genres, cast, director, maturity rating, language, country and copyright owner are required for catalog review.

File naming

Use a descriptive, unique filename: project-title_material_language_v01.ext (for example, after-the-orbit_captions_en_v02.vtt). Include season and episode for series. Do not put passwords, personal addresses or tax identifiers in filenames.

Uploads and replacements

Use the private delivery workspace after the agreement is executed. Uploads support multipart resume by selecting the same file again. Each replacement becomes a new version. No upload automatically publishes content. Choose the correct material type before uploading. Masters may be up to 50 GB; other files are limited to 32 MB. Keep the original local file until completion. A completed upload is a receipt, not acceptance or publication.

Quality-control checklist

Check picture, sound, captions, synchronization, artwork and metadata. Technical review and rights review are separate. Address requested replacements before catalog conversion.

Rights and clearances

Confirm the chain of title, underlying story, screenplay, music composition and recording rights, talent and location releases, artwork and trademarks. Disclose AI tools, synthetic voices and likeness rights. Identify all territory, platform and term restrictions. Technical approval does not clear rights.

Frequently asked questions

When should I upload the master? After an executed agreement and a delivery request. Can I replace a file? Open your delivery workspace and upload a new version for the requested material; previous audit versions remain. Does uploading publish my film? No. Staff must complete technical, rights and scheduling review. Need an exception? Message acquisitions before delivery.
