moorfx connects independent filmmakers and AI-assisted storytellers with audiences who are looking for something different.
What we acquire
Features, shorts, series, documentaries, animation and experimental work. We welcome independent voices, Black cinema, international stories and new approaches to filmmaking.
Your work stays yours
Submission does not transfer ownership. Any distribution rights must be stated in a separately reviewed and fully executed license agreement.
How licensing works
Submit a private screener and project details. Our acquisitions team reviews the work and its rights. If there is a fit, we discuss a specific license, territories, platforms, term and commercial arrangement before requesting final delivery.
Revenue participation
Any creator share is a negotiated percentage of contractually defined distributable revenue. Percentages, permitted deductions, reporting, payment timing and thresholds belong in the individual contract. Submission does not guarantee revenue or acceptance.
Founding filmmakers
Help shape an independent catalog. The founding filmmaker program is an invitation to discuss early programming opportunities; any benefits and marketing commitments must be documented in the signed deal.
Distribution and originals
Accepted titles may be programmed for moorfx web and Roku within their licensed scope. A moorfx Original designation is negotiated and does not itself establish ownership or exclusivity.
Submission process
Create a creator profile, describe your project, disclose existing distribution and any AI-assisted production, make your rights declarations, and supply an initial screener and artwork. Save a draft and return when you are ready.
Delivery requirements
After agreement execution, deliver your highest-quality clean master, separate captions, artwork, metadata and rights documentation. moorfx handles streaming preparation; creators do not need to build an HLS ladder. Technical and rights review are separate release gates.
